  3. Hey, I've never worked a chart before, but this one looked easy, and the socks were BEAUTIFUL, so I thought I'd give it a try. So here are my Obviously-A-Chart-Rookie-Questions: First: I've been reading the chart, starting with the bottom right hand corner and going left. Is that right? Second: Assuming I'm correct in question one, I'm stuck on the second row of the chart. The first direction is a forward slash (\) which according to the "legend" is an ssk. Doesn't this mean to "Slip, Slip, K2Tog"? Because when I do, I end not having enought stitches in the pattern repeat. It takes 18 stitches instead of the 16. What am I doing wrong???
Other than my chart-reading incompetence I LOVE these socks. Thank you so much for posting this pattern!
